6 to 10 May 2009
There are beautiful - red, white, orange, pink and even mix coloured - and they are real. The flowers are big compared to those in Malaysia, thanks to the favourable weather
There are bigger ones than the ones here and other colours too.
Don't know what you call this. A wonder as well!
It was a whole new world to me initially There are 4 seasons. Drive on the right side and not the left side of the road. Unless it is multiway switching, push up the wall switch to turn the light on. What else...................... People are the same when it comes to family values, etc. etc. ..... Come, share with me...... as time goes. International Friends
Huntington Beach, California
Friday, 8 May 2009
When Lian said that we would be visiting Huntington beach, I was excited. I have not been there yet and a dear friend lives in this city!
This beach is full of activities: volleyball, kites, sunbathing, surfing:
This is the main reason why we visited Huntington beach - to wash the memorial beach of Sister Eberle's late husband.
I was thinking should I or should I not take pictures of them. We were lying on the beach towels and they came close. Finally I did take a picture of one of the birds. By that time, the sun is already going down and I didn't adjust my light setting. Also I didn't want to scare them off.
I like this picture of Lian and Sister Eberle - waiting for Sister Heather!
Finally........ I haven't seen her since March 2007. That was in Malaysia. This was the first time we met since her return to the US. She is a special woman and I have great respect for her.

Newport Beach California Temple, California

My first time to Newport Beach California Temple. It is dedicated on the 28 August 2005 and is the 6th temple built in California. There were only 2 ordinance rooms. We didn't get in time to join a session but we were able to do the washing and anointing ordinances, and enjoy the lovely celestial room. Thank you, Sister Eberle for taking us there.
I am thankful that I was able to attend a session at the San Diego temple on Wednesday (6 May 2009). I am thankful to Brother/Sister Watson for taking us there.

Disneyland Park. - Anaheim, California
Thursday, 7 May 2009
It wasn't my first visit to Disneyland Park (Anaheim) but it was for Lian. And the 2 of us got free entrance tickets. Special treat for Lian, from a member of a ward.
Going to "Hollywood" in the park.

Thanks, Brother and Sister Watson, for taking us to this interesting habour.
Incidentally there was some kind of air show going on!
Looks like a big bonzai to me!
Thank God for creating the flowers, they are beautiful, regardless whether they are on the tree or on the ground!
Just passing through - some interesting buildings - museum and don't know what (I forgot).

La Jolla (San Diego, California) Ecological Reserve/Beach/Underwater Park

Thanks, Brother & Sister Watson, for taking us to this beautiful place.
Can you see the birds on the rocks?
See the seals on the beach?
I am so glad I finally got a picture of these flowers. They were on the fields in Yuma foothills during the winter months. I love the sight. I told Mike that I wanted him to take a picture of me sitting in the middle of a big purple patch of these flowers in Yuma but somehow we didn't make an effort to do it. The days just passed. So glad to see them here in San Diego.
And the yellow flowers as well!
I think the birds contributed to the abundance of these plants!
