Woke up to
darkness. Electricity was off, don't know what time in the morning.
Mike woke up at 1am and there was indication of a power failure sometime
earlier. A lot of people in different areas were affected. We stayed inside the
condominium this day and night of the 26 December. Next day, we stayed at a hotel as the temperature in the condo continue to drop, plus there is no indication as to when electricity would be restored. Our electricity was only
restored 3 days later - 29 December 2012.
Woke up to sight of snow everywhere
outside - the cars, the trash bins, the recycle bins, the bushes, the
trees, the roofless verandah.
