It was a very hot day, 106 deg F!   Didn't stop us from visiting this lovely cultural center in Sulphur - the Chickasaw Culture Center.

Edmond - Amstrong Auditorium - Exhibit

Thanks to Facebook feed, I learnt about the exhibit of the seals of  Prophet Isaiah and King Hezekiah of Judah, at the Amstrong Auditorium in Edmond.

The exhibition was excellent.   This book was excellent and we got to take it home.   Learnt about the kingdom of Assyria, which is today made up of  part of 6 countries: Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia,Turkey and Lebanon

Amazed by the power of our God, in the findings of the artifacts, the tiny seals of the Prophet Isaiah and King Hezekiah. the miracle healing of King Hezekiah, the building of Hezekiah's tunnel.

The beautiful Amstrong Auditorium building and the amazing sculptor of "swans in flight" outside.

Thanks to Amstrong International Cultural Foundation for bringing this exhibition to us.   This is my first visit to the Amstrong Auditorium and I am so grateful for my first experience.   It has strengthened my testimony that God lives and the Bible is true.

There is a lot of history to see and learn from this museum, especially extinct subjects.

Good this a visitor exclaimed to her kids to look up.  Mike & I didn't think to look up the wonderful exhibitions.

I love this exhibition

 I thought this is interesting.   They are not real human skeleton.   This security guard is Isabella.  She "guards" the Family Room.   Kids get to play here with "bones" and all kinds of stuff related to animals.

So we stopped at the gas station as Mike wanted to get some drink from the ASAP General Store.   I can't resist taking picture of this big boot in the front of the station.  They have a section in the Store selling the famous Ricks' boots and outfitters.
