Mall 31

Thursday, 18 August 2011

I was attracted to them. Saw them in Mall 31, 5970 East 31st Street, Tulsa, OK 74135.

This deer was on sale for $595.

The dolphin was selling for $850

There was no price tag on this tiger. I guess it served as a decoration.

Flea Markets and Dog Show

Saturday, 28 May 2011

Flea Markets in the United States are like Pasar Malam in Malaysia.

This is the 3rd flea market that I have visited in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We visited the Admiral Flea Market (9401 East Admiral Place, Tulsa, OK 74115) and the Great American Flea Market (9210 East Admiral Place, Tulsa, OK 74115) on Friday, 6 May 2011.

This is the Tulsa Flea Market (4145 East 21st Street, Tulsa, OK 74114) and it is opened every Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm.

It didn't take long for me to get bored. I guess I didn't need anything there. So I left Michael there (he loves to look at old stuff) and I walked to a dog show which happened to be held this weekend, in the same buiding.

Forgot the name of this Saint Bernard at this time of blogging. Spotted him and was told that he won in one of the show. He is heavier and bigger than me!

A Saturday Evening

Saturday, 12 December 2009

This evening saw 2 different scenes......

When we arrived at the Walmart there was only the Coffee Memorial Blood Center vehicle, but when we came out later there was the Moore County Ambulance vehicle. Someone mumured about passing out after donating blood??? I don't know about that remark. Next the fire department vehicle arrived.

At a different location later, there was this truck that parked. While Mike was talking to the driver, I took the opportunity to take a snap of these dogs. The one on the left was oblivious of my presence. He kept his eyes at that direction. I guess he was probably looking out for its beloved master or mistress who had gone into the shop.

41st Annual Funday, Sunray

Saturday, 15 August 2009

What caught my attention most on this day were:

(1) The haircut. The young lad was standing in front of me, during the parade at the main street

(2) The raccoon. Roger had 2 of them since they were a few days old. They were reared for educational purpose and not as pets. They were displayed at his booth at the community park.

19 December 2009: Thanks, Elda, for allowing me to post these pictures that you took, on this day.
